As Accurate as Blood Alcohol Test
The QED device virtually duplicates blood alcohol results. Studies have demonstrated a .98 correlation (1.00 is a perfect correlation) between saliva test results with the QED and laboratory blood alcohol results.
Instructions for use
STEP 1 – The subject holds the swab in the mouth for approximately 60 seconds to collect saliva.
STEP 2 – Place the swab into the Q.E.D device. Capillary action draws the saliva up the column.
STEP 3 – Read results like a thermometer. Example shows a .12% BAC result.
