The H2 Microcuvette is a blood collection device that also contains the reagent necessary to prepare the blood sample for measurement of Hemoglobin & Hematocrit in the HemoPoint H2 Photometer. Hemoglobin (the oxygen-carrying pigment and main component of red blood cells) and Hematocrit (the percentage by volume of red blood cells in whole blood) levels can both be obtained using a small sample (8 uL) of arterial, venous, or capillary blood. Microcuvettes are intended for one-time use only.
